Loved this post!!! Totally awesome and great ideas! The news has been horrible lately and we all need ideas on how to avoid it. These are fantastic!
I dive into a good novel to read and it just takes me away from all the bad stuff! Of course, most of the time I’m cleaning or working on some project that has been on my “to do” list for God knows how long. Lol…
You know how to make a person smile, Julie! You’re great!
Thanks, Cheryl! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I usually include some books I've read, because reading is my #1 escape for sure, but for this post I had to go rogue. I definitely think you should spend more time reading and less time cleaning!
Julie, I read your posts religiously because you are so funny and they make me smile! And thank you for the intro to Timmy, I’m now hooked and following - she’s phenomenal as is her jumper :)
Glad to bring some happy! And I can totally see how a fashionista like you - and an English-born gal, no less! - would enjoy Trinny's stuff! Sending love to you in SoCal.
Loved this post, Julie! And I can attest to the healing powers of cleaning out a closet, or in my case, my whole office, which looked like a demolition site after I finished my manuscript. Cleaning the office required cleaning several closets to make room for all the stuff that truly did not belong in my office (strangely, a brand new toilet plunger - never used - was among the artifacts). Here's to keeping sane by making space for creativity to flow.
Looking forward to writing and rejuvenating!
Excited that you are joining us!
